About Us

We are a custom metal fabricator specializing in architectural and decorative metalwork. Our projects range from high-end residential to commercial installations. We are looking for a motivated Project Coordinator / Mechanical Technologist to join our team and help manage projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

- Review client drawings and inquiries to prepare accurate estimates and quotes

- Read and interpret architectural and mechanical drawings (DWG, PDF, etc.)

- Conduct site visits for measurement, verification, and client coordination

- Communicate with clients to understand needs and provide technical guidance

- Prepare and send quotes, follow up with clients, and help secure sales

- Create technical drawings and fabrication details using SolidWorks or other CAD software when required

- Coordinate with internal teams (design, fabrication, installation) to ensure smooth workflow

- Track project progress and maintain clear communication with clients throughout

- Provide on-site support during installation when necessary

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of metal fabrication or mechanical processes

- Proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD software)

- Ability to read architectural and mechanical drawings confidently

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at once

- Comfortable conducting site measurements and client meetings

- Self-motivated and goal-driven — able to follow up on quotes and close sales

- A background in mechanics or fabrication is an asset

- Valid Ontario driver’s license and ability to travel locally for site visits

Location: Newmarket, ON Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: 1–3 years in a related field preferred

Pay: $42,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
