The Technical Project Specialist is responsible for overseeing technology projects by planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects within the predefined scope, time, and budget constraints. The primary responsibilities for this role involve leading cross-functional project teams, managing resources, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders to deliver exceptional member experiences and successful project outcomes. This position is targeted for entry- to mid-level project managers focusing on small to medium-sized projects. The Technical Project Specialist reports to the Senior Manager.

- Hybrid Schedule: Minimum of working 3 days per week in the office and ability to work up to all 5 days a week in the office, as needed
- Required Days from an Office Location: Tuesday and Wednesday - the third required day will be up to the candidate and their supervisor to choose
- Assist in coordinating and executing technology project plans in alignment with member goals and internal standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, goals, and deliverables; monitor progress and track metrics throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide effective and timely communication to internal teams and external Member/Customers regarding project status, milestones, and expectations.
- Facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Implementation Project Managers and Technical Leads, to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Support application setup, configuration, and usage as it relates to the assigned projects.
- Identify, document, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Prepare and follow through on Change Requests (CRs) as needed.
- Contribute to data validation, conversion analysis, and issue resolution as appropriate.
- Assist with documenting and improving internal project-related processes and procedures.
- Provide support during critical project phases, including after-hours or weekend support on an as-needed basis.

- Basic to moderate knowledge of project management principles, tools, and methodologies.

- Familiarity with Utility and/or Telecom industries preferred.
- Ability to travel as necessary to support project goals.
Associate degree or higher in a business, IT, or project management-related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related role.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is a plus but not required.
