- Develop and implement cost control and scheduling functions for engineering and construction projects and programs.
- Coordinate and prepare project progress reports in collaboration with shop and field inspectors.
- Participate in weekly meetings with project teams, suppliers, and/or contractors, and initiate or conduct additional meetings as required to meet business needs.
- Monitor project expenditures and provide regular weekly updates to the project management team.
- Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive project progress reporting, including all financial and earned value analyses, in accordance with contractual and business requirements.
- Collect and review third-party shop inspection reports.
- Complete receipt entries for equipment, material deliveries, and services provided.
- Implement, monitor, and administer change control processes, including those related to project scope, budget, contract, and schedule adjustments.
- Review, distribute, and track invoices and progress payments.
- Assist in invoice processing, ensure compliance, and initiate goods receipts as appropriate.
- Verify invoices for completed purchases.
- Confirm shipment receipts through coordination with third-party shop inspectors and Targa contract inspectors.
- Oversee compliance for the receipt of goods, following up to resolve any nonconformance issues to completion.
- Audit and close out open commitments throughout the project life cycle, ensuring prompt closure of all projects.
- Proactively seek opportunities for professional growth and innovative solutions to maximize value for the business unit.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- A minimum of seven years of experience in the natural gas midstream or energy industry, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software; experience with Exceed LMS, Integrify, DocuSign, and Maximo preferred.
- Effective communication and collaboration with all company levels and external organizations.
- Willing to travel overnight about 5% of the time, with possible additional travel as needed.
- Reliable, regular attendance required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- 7 years of natural gas midstream experience, including 4 years in project controls.
