Your Impact in This Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations. In this critical role, you’ll take full ownership of production activities, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across the facility. Your leadership will be key to driving performance, developing talent, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
As a Production Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
•Production Oversight: Assume full ownership of production processes and become the facility’s process expert.
•Scheduling & Monitoring: Develop and manage production schedules to meet operational goals.
•Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and monitor daily equipment checks.
•Team Leadership & Development: Train plant personnel on procedures and Kaizen principles; develop training programs and monitor team growth.
•Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Perform basic electrical/electronic troubleshooting (including 480vAC/3/60 systems) and rigging of motors, conveyors, and other heavy components.
•Communication & Coordination: Maintain strong rapport with plant personnel, assign work to supervisors, and ensure labor distribution aligns with production needs.
•Continuous Improvement: Identify weak areas in shifts and implement strategies for process improvement.
•Reporting & Documentation: Keep detailed records of training and personnel assignments; provide weekly feedback to the Plant Manager on operations, personnel, and plant status.
•Safety & Environmental Compliance: Manage safety protocols and ensure environmental compliance across shifts.
•Other Duties: Perform coaching or counseling as needed and support additional responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table
•High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
•3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment
•Strong background in process improvement and lean manufacturing systems
•Experience with computerized maintenance programs
•Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting (480vAC/3/60)
•Hands-on experience with rigging and mechanical systems
•Lean Manufacturing experience; Six Sigma certification a plus
•Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
•Strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
•Ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing teams

Working Conditions:
•Exposure to dusty and noisy conditions periodically
