Production Foreman
Summary:
Grit Oil & Gas Management, LLC is looking for a Production Foreman to work in conjunction with the Production Superintendent and Production Engineering Team to oversee production operations on operated assets in South Texas. Under the general guidance of the Production Superintendent, the Production Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing field personnel, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of producing assets in their area of responsibility. The position is based out of our Carrizo Springs, TX office.
Responsibilities:
•Lead all daily activities in area of responsibility, including leading and managing Lease Operators and 3rd party contractors
•Direct management of wells, field compression and production facilities
•Manage field operations and personnel to help meet company goals for safety, LOE, and production metrics
•Provide daily updates of operation activities and production variances with recommendations for production improvement
•Assist Production Engineering team with implementing production improvements, optimization, and troubleshooting wells
•Support the technical development and training of Lease Operators
•Assist with identifying opportunities for cost reductions and operational improvements
•Manage maintenance requests
Requirements:
•All candidates must be Permanent Residents or US Citizens to be considered
•5+ years of leadership experience with an onshore upstream operator
•High school degree or GED is preferred
•Must have the highest standard of Integrity: Honesty, transparency, accountability – do the right thing
•Continuous Improvement mindset: Constantly seeking the next upgrade to Safety, Production, Costs
•Experience in field production operations including facilities, compression, pipeline operations, and LACT units
•Ability to work in a field based, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment
•Ability to manage several projects at one time including field personnel and third-party contractors
•Strong written and verbal communication abilities with strong time management and organizational skills
•Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while independently managing project and tasks
Preferred Experience:
•Experience with oilfield software such as Zedi, Wellview, Quorum Production Software (Field Insights), and Spotfire
•Demonstrated experience with gas lift, plunger lift and rod pump installation and operations
•Proven leadership ability overseeing teams, driving results, and mentoring team members
•Demonstrated ability to manage and track project costs and timelines while allocating resources accordingly within budget
