Primary Duties & Responsibilities
•Evaluate efficiency of work processes and identify and implements process improvements to optimize productivity.
•Provides on-the-job skills and quality standards training to both new and seasoned employees in order to ensure that learning and self-development opportunities exist for production staff.
•Meets with teams and lead workers to inform them of daily, weekly, and monthly production goals; encourage questions and suggestions and provides feedback on accomplishments and upcoming challenges to keep employees involved and motivated in accomplishing goals.
•Oversee activities such as maintaining inventory levels, unloading, storage and movement of raw materials, and placement and loading of finished products for shipping and delivery.
•Supervise manufacturing production to ensure that production and quality standards are achieved
•Perform critical manufacturing production positions
•Work safely following workplace safety practices set forth by CROFT & OSHA
•Review daily operating reports and report operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues and shift events to superiors to prevent operational delays
•Troubleshoot operational and tooling problems to improve quality and efficiency
•Build and maintain a positive team oriented environment amongst production personnel
Educational/Training/Experience
•Associate’s degree, Technical Diploma or equivalent manufacturing experience required
•At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility
•Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process. Detailed knowledge of the relationship between work centers and how variables at each work center affect other areas.
•Basic proficiency in Microsoft office packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel
•Proven leadership skills
•Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
