Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Production Associate to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in working with various hand tools and power tools. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products while ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications.
Responsibilities
•Fabricate sheet metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
•Finish sheet metal by grinding, deburring, timesaving, wiping/cleaning parts
•Assemble and install sheet metal products in various applications.
•Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
•Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
•Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the factory or warehouse environment.
•Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals.
•Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sheet metal fabrication processes.
•Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
•Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Associate or similar role in a manufacturing facility.
•Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
•Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment related to sheet metal work.
•Familiarity with forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory.
•Ability to work effectively in a factory or warehouse setting, including assembly line environments.
•Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
•Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing for long periods, and moving materials as needed.
