Product Engineer/Engineering Tech

Job Summary:

Valley Design is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Product Engineer/Engineering Tech to join our team. In this role, they will design and develop products to meet our customer’s needs while continuously working to improve or expand current products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design or modify products as needed.

- Creates drawings and bill of materials for production.

- Tests products as required by BIFMA.

- Create work and installation instructions. Follow products through on their development from concept to full production.

- Assist in establishing a manufacturing process for production.

- Create and implements ECO’s as required. Assists marketing in sales presentations, catalogs, and general advertising literature. Documents and maintains all revision levels on drawings.

- Assist in problem solving and implementing solutions.

Required Qualifications:

- AS or BS degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.

- Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor or CAD equivalent.

- Working knowledge of Autodesk Vault preferred, but not required.

- General understand of metal fabrication.

- Hands on work experience beneficial

- Sound knowledge of engineering theory and design criteria.

- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.

- Good Organizational and Communication Skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
