As Preconstruction Lead, you will drive project success by aligning your work with our project vision, leveraging your unique strengths, and collaborating across teams to deliver superior results in safety, schedule, cost, and quality.

What You Will Do- Vision:

- Consistently align your decisions and actions with the project vision and DEPCOM's long-term objectives, ensuring your work delivers durable value for all stakeholders.

- Knowledge:

- Lead and oversee the Estimating RFQ process from start to finish, applying sound judgment, data analysis, and lessons learned to improve accuracy and reliability in cost estimates.

- Facilitate value engineering discussions, bringing together internal and external stakeholders to optimize project design and schedules, maximizing margin capture.

- Collaborate across teams, leveraging each person's unique strengths and expertise to maximize project outcomes. Proactively identify and remove barriers to effective teamwork and decision-making.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

- Experience estimating solar projects of utility scale

- Deep understanding of the Estimating RFQ process, cost analysis, and value engineering.

- Proficiency in construction management software and data analysis tools.

- Demonstrated ability to align work with organizational vision and long-term project goals.

- Experience contributing to strategies that drive durable value for stakeholders.

- Strong integrity, accountability, and commitment to safety and quality.

- Proven leadership and collaboration skills, fostering a positive team culture .

What Will Put You Ahead

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Demonstrated ability to align work with organizational vision and long-term project goals.

- Experience contributing to strategies that drive durable value for stakeholders.

- Track record of learning, adapting, and applying new knowledge to improve results.

- Ability to identify and remove barriers to effective teamwork and decision-making.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.

For this role, we anticipate paying $115,000- $135,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
