Production Lead

Canton Quarry - Rogers Group Inc – Cadiz, KY

Pay will be determined based on the candidate’s overall experience and skill set.

Full Time Day Shift: 5:45 am – 4 pm.

Rogers Group is seeking a Day shift Production Lead for our surface operation located in CADIZ, KY . The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but not limited to:

- Lead a crew of 4-6 safely and effectively.

- Routine equipment/plant maintenance

- Operating production equipment

- Involved with plant improvement projects

- Inspect and perform daily repairs and maintenance on plant

- Inspect and maintain crushers, conveyors, screens, and other equipment

- Other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications:

- Must have dedication to safe work practices.

- Minimum of 2 years mining, industrial, or similar lead person experience is required .

- Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed

- Must be willing to work a regular 545am to 4pm shift

- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed

- Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions

- Must pass pre-employment drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in heavy equipment is preferred, but not required

- Working knowledge of quarry utilities and equipment including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc.

- Experience welding and cutting

- Experience leading a crew in safety and production.
