Own the setup. Run with accuracy. Deliver parts that pass inspection the first time.
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and routers per work orders and blueprints.
- Load stock, confirm tooling and offsets, and verify machine readiness.
- Monitor cycle performance; adjust feeds/speeds and tool wear to protect quality and throughput.
- Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges; hold required tolerances.
- Complete routine maintenance and sustain a clean, organized workstation.
- Escalate equipment issues, dimensional nonconformances, or safety hazards promptly.
- Read/interpret drawings and job instructions with confidence.
- Partner with teammates, engineers, and supervisors to troubleshoot and improve processes.
- Record production counts and inspection data accurately.
- High school diploma or equivalent; machining training/certification is a plus.
- 1–3 years of CNC operation experience (entry‑level talent with training considered).
- Blueprint literacy and comfort with technical drawings/schematics.
- Hands‑on proficiency with precision metrology and inspection techniques.
- Solid math skills and practical problem‑solving.
- Strong attention to detail, quality orientation, and safety mindset.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Production floor setting with active machinery, noise, and common manufacturing materials.
- Full‑time position; overtime may be required based on production needs.
