About This Role

We are looking for an install plumber specializing in residential spaces to join our team. This role focuses on setting up and installing new plumbing systems in homes. The job typically begins with planning and designing the layout for pipes, fixtures, and appliances based on blueprints and architectural plans. You will then install a variety of plumbing components, such as pipes, faucets, toilets, sinks, showers, and water heaters. Ensuring proper connections to existing systems, like water supplies and sewage, is crucial. After installation, you will test the systems to check for leaks and ensure everything functions correctly. Adhering to local building codes and regulations is essential, and you will also troubleshoot any issues that arise during or after installation to maintain reliable water and waste management in the home.

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For

- Assembling, positioning, and sealing valves, pipe fittings, and pipes.

- Using equipment such as mini excavators and trenchers to facilitate the installation process.

- Discussing solutions with customers to address their plumbing needs and preferences.

- Creating plumbing layouts based on blueprints and architectural plans.

- Installing various plumbing components including faucets, toilets, sinks, showers, and water heaters.

- Ensuring proper connections to existing water supplies and sewage systems.

- Checking installed systems for leaks and verifying that everything functions correctly.

- Adhering to local building codes and regulations.

- Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during or after installation to ensure reliable water and waste management in the home.

- Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- 2+ years of Dig experience

- Proven experience in plumbing, with a preference for those with a background in residential projects.

- Strong capability to diagnose and resolve complex issues with critical thinking.

- Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of experience- not including the learner’s permit

- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dedication to delivering high-quality results.

- Exhibit exceptional customer service skills and the ability to address clients' needs effectively.

- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization.

- Show flexibility and creativity in problem-solving while working as a collaborative team member.

The Physical Requirements Of This Job Include

- Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally

- Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.

- Ability to drive.

- Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces.

- Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.

- Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.

- Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.

- The work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow.
