Plumber/Water technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various trades, including plumbing. This role involves working with water systems, performing installations, maintenance, and repairs while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Duties

- Install, maintain, and repair water systems and related equipment.

- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively

- Conduct maintenance on water system operations (training provided).

- Operate commercial vehicles for transporting equipment and materials to job sites.

- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various task

- Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations.

- Lift heavy materials as required for construction or repair tasks.

- Assemble components of water systems according to specifications.

- Execute welding tasks when necessary for system integrity.

Requirements

- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, or construction preferred.

- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to water systems.

- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.

- Basic math skills for effective measurement and calculations.

- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.

- Experience with assembly work related to mechanical systems is a plus.

- Familiarity with welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.

- A valid driver's license is required for commercial driving duties.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34.50-$38.00 per hour
