Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Irrigation Technician to support installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems on active construction sites and stabilized landscapes. This role is critical to ensuring proper water management, vegetation establishment, and long-term site compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Install irrigation systems including:

- Drip systems

- Sprinkler systems

- Valves, controllers, and timers

- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems (leaks, pressure issues, wiring, valves)

- Perform system start-ups, adjustments, and winterization

- Read and interpret site plans and irrigation layouts

- Assist with hydroseeding, revegetation, and landscape establishment as needed

- Ensure systems meet project specifications and environmental requirements

- Coordinate with field crews and supervisors to complete work efficiently

- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working order

- Follow all safety protocols and company standards

Requirements

- Prior irrigation experience required (installation and repair)

- Knowledge of irrigation components, controllers, and basic electrical systems

- Ability to read plans and layouts preferred

- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor

- Valid driver’s license (clean driving record preferred)

- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in construction, erosion control, or landscaping

- Familiarity with water management and stormwater compliance

- Ability to operate small equipment (trencher, skid steer, etc.)

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
