Precision Site Development, LLC is a Commercial Site Development Company dedicated to constructing quality and precise commercial and residential building sites and infrastructure systems. Our services include: Excavation, Earthwork, Land Grading, Land Clearing, Building and Site Demolition and Site Utility Construction. We employ an experienced and versatile team that is dedicated to identifying and fulfilling the clients need for quality site construction completed using Principles, Precision and Productivity safely. The Pipe Foreman is responsible for the management of multiple crew members, multiple phases of utility work and the operation of multiple types of heavy excavation equipment operation (i.e.: Track Loaders, Wheel Loaders, Excavators, Compact Track Loaders and Compaction Equipment to name a few) under the direction of Ownership and the General Superintendent. The Pipe Foreman will be required to work harmoniously with leadership, clients, subordinates, engineers and other trades by coordinating each day's work, reading project blueprints, lay out of underground utilities, utility structures and systems in order to install multiple types of piping, pipe bedding, trench backfill as well as coordination, receiving, logging and tracking and staging of materials. Additionally, the Foreman shall ensure that daily fueling and maintenance of equipment and general daily clean-up activities occur. The foreman shall ensure all daily activities occur while adhering to established processes for time and cost tracking and using safe work practices. Eligible candidates will actively work with project teams to meet and exceed client expectations.
Key performance objectives in order of priority are:
- Managing and ensuring the use of safe work practices to ensure an environment with zero recordable incidents or violations of the established OSHA and Precision Site Development safety policies.
- Accurately and efficiently operates multiple sizes and types of heavy construction equipment to achieve established project scopes of work and schedule objectives.
- Accurately and efficiently coordinates, provides layout and installs multiple types and sizes of piping, underground utilities and utility structures per project plans and specifications in conjunction with all project schedule objectives and all local codes.
- Performing daily maintenance and refueling of all company equipment and assets.
- Completes and Submits Daily job logs, time cards, safety logs and production logs using the Company Project Management and Time Tracking Software.
- Manages, Coordinates, and schedules the loading, unloading and staging of materials as needed to ensure the timely and accurate installation of all Site Development Utilities and Systems.
- Inventories, quantifies and verifies all material deliveries and logs in Company Project Management Software.
- Manages and directs subordinates to ensure proper line, grade, inverts, backfill and compaction of trenches and embankments occurs.
- Accurately provides layout of site structures, systems and grade contours in utility trenches and site elevations using Trimble GPS Systems, Tape Measures, laser levels, pipe lasers, transits and laser rods.
- Direct and ensure each site is properly cleaned, swept and organized daily.
The Pipe Foreman position requires the ability to work in a demanding environment that requires an expert level of understanding of construction blueprints, earthwork activities, geotechnical principles and site utility installations. Additionally the position requires physical strength, better than average hand eye coordination and the ability to climb as well as the ability to operate all types excavation equipment, small hand tools, sledge hammers, demolition hammers, gas powered saws, compaction equipment and skid type loaders. A Foreman must also be able understand site grading plans and staking as well as the ability to lead others and adapt to change. Personal accountability is a must in this role.
