Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to resident rights and adherence to HIPAA regulations while delivering direct support in various settings, including home care and nursing homes.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Monitor and document changes in clients' conditions and report any concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Uphold resident rights and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as social work or long-term care is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory.
