The Field Family is seeking a part-time Household Manager and Personal Chef to oversee the smooth daily operation of a 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom private residence. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with proven experience managing high-level household logistics, providing exceptional culinary services, and coordinating personal and family needs with discretion. Please note, that this role does not involve any childcare.
- Household Operations: Oversee all aspects of interior upkeep, appliance management, exterior property maintenance, and coordination with service providers, vendors, and repair technicians.
- Culinary Services: Plan, shop for, prepare, and serve daily meals tailored to family preferences and dietary needs.
- Inventory & Procurement: Maintain a fully stocked household through proactive inventory tracking and purchasing of pantry staples, household supplies, and personal items.
- Transportation & Logistics: Drive family members to appointments, errands, and occasional airport/train station drop-offs or pickups; manage scheduling and maintenance of household vehicles. Assist with occasional travel to New York City
- Errands & Administration: Handle personal errands, scheduling, and various administrative tasks to support the family’s daily routines.
- Light Housekeeping & Organization: Maintain organized living spaces, closets, and storage areas; ensure tidiness of common areas.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- No criminal record.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar high-level household management, personal assistant, or private chef role.
- Proven discretion and professionalism in handling personal and confidential matters.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail across household operations, meal planning, and scheduling.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 35 lbs and managing routine household tasks.
- Advanced cooking experience and ability to accommodate specialty diets (e.g., gluten-free, vegetarian).
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Experience coordinating services across multiple residences.
Proficiency with household management tools and task-tracking systems.
