Now Hiring: Permit Coordinator Extraordinaire (a.k.a. the Unsung Hero of Solar Projects)

$15–$20/hour | Full-Time | Houston

What You’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. Project Sanity Saver):

- Coordinate with city and county offices to get all required permits submitted and approved

- Track the status of permits like a detective on a mission

- Make sure applications are accurate, complete, and delivered on time—no surprises, no do-overs

- Communicate with customers, field teams, and local jurisdictions like a seasoned pro

- Keep everyone in the loop and moving forward

- Juggle multiple projects with grace and humor

- Log updates in our systems and make sure all documentation is filed and organized

- Stay on top of regulations, timelines, and city-by-city quirks

Who You Are (besides ridiculously reliable):

- Fluent in English (bonus if you speak a second language!)

- Detail-oriented to a fault—you catch mistakes before they happen

- Comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and permit portals

- Able to communicate clearly and professionally with city officials, teammates, and clients

- Have experience in permitting, solar, construction, or admin roles (preferred, not required)

- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and love checking things off your list

- Calm under pressure and annoyingly good at follow-up
