Performance Analyst Intern, Summer 2026

The

as a member of the Analytics team is responsible for projects related to performance analytics with the aim to identify asset underperformance and to support the development and management of internal asset performance analytics tools and their associated infrastructure.

The tools on the platform address real-time and historical performance, provide underperformance alerts and summarize relevant asset data for a variety of audiences including upper management. The Intern Performance Engineer with guidance from the team will collaborate closely with local O&M and Reliability Engineering teams in surfacing the issues that cause assets to underperform. The ultimate goal for the Intern Performance Analyst is to understand the performance of RWECE’s portfolio of assets and support projects that identify underperformance and offer a perspective on possible improvement opportunities.

- Analyse operational performance data from wind, solar and battery systems. Identify and investigate underperformance

- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to develop and implement remediation plans

- Assist in building models to estimate energy production by using mainly SQL and Python scripts

- Learn about renewable energy systems and their performance

Job Requirements and Experiences:

- Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Environmental Science or Data Analytics background

- Programming experience in Python, SQL, R, Power Bi, Tableau

- Familiarity with renewable energy systems (Photovoltaics, Storage, Wind turbines)

- Good verbal and written communication skills in English language. Ability to interact with a variety of professional groups

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
