Position Overview:
The Parts Runner plays a vital support role in ARI’s operations by facilitating the timely and accurate transport of parts and equipment between company headquarters, job sites, and vendors. This role ensures the continuity of field operations through dependable vehicle operation, clear communication, and efficient coordination with ARI’s Fleet and Operations teams.
Schedule::
- Typical schedule includes 8–10 hour shifts, with occasional extended hours as operational needs dictate.
- Travel is required between ARI headquarters and remote job sites.
- Wage Range:: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

- Education:: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Mechanical Aptitude: :Comfortable working around heavy equipment, tooling, and mechanical operations, with the ability to recognize common parts and components to support accurate pickups, deliveries, and effective communication with shop and field personnel.
- Driver License:: Valid driver’s license with a driving record that includes no more than 3 moving violations and/or chargeable accidents in the last 3 years and no DUIIs.
- Travel:: Ability and willingness to travel away from home during the workweek (typically Monday–Friday).
- Background Check:: Required through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in compliance with federal government restrictions.

Job Responsibilities:
Vehicle Operation and Safety:- Responsible Driver:: Operates company vehicles safely, respectfully, and in alignment with ARI’s standards of integrity and accountability
- Safety-Focused:: Follows all traffic laws and adheres strictly to company safety protocols to ensure personal and public well-being
- Vehicle Maintenance:: Performs routine vehicle inspections and basic upkeep to support reliability and operational readiness
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicles:
- Parts Pickup, Delivery, and Distribution: Ensures accurate and timely transport of parts, contributing to operational efficiency and reliability across job sites
- Parts Request Processing: Receives and processes parts requests accurately, maintaining clear documentation and prioritization
- Route Execution: Retrieves and delivers parts between headquarters, vendors, and job sites with precision and urgency
- Delivery Accuracy: Ensures all parts deliveries are timely, accurate, and secure, upholding ARI’s standards for service and accountability
- Equipment Transfer Support: Assists the Transfer team with the pick-up and delivery of equipment to ensure smooth transitions between sites
- Flagging Assistance: Provides reliable flagging support during equipment loading and unloading, promoting safety and coordination on site.
- Safety Compliance: Follows all flagging procedures and safety protocols with consistency and professionalism, reinforcing ARI’s safety-first culture :
- Collaboration: Coordinates closely with the Fleet Manager, mechanics, and site personnel to align on delivery schedules and site needs.
- Prioritization: Prioritizes delivery tasks based on shifting operational demands to keep field operations running smoothly.
- Logistics Communication: Provides regular updates and promptly responds to inquiries regarding delivery timelines and status.
- Performs additional tasks as needed to support the Operations team and contribute to overall team success.
- Extended Work Hours:: Frequently working 12–14-hour workdays.
- Outdoor Exposure:: While the role primarily involves driving, it occasionally requires working outdoors during pickups, deliveries, or equipment transfers, with exposure to weather conditions such as rain, snow, and extreme temperatures.
- Lifting Requirements: :Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50–75 lbs on a regular basis, including handling parts and tools.
- Repetitive Activity: :Involves routine reaching, twisting, and use of hands/arms for tasks such as loading parts, operating tools, or performing vehicle checks.
- Vehicle Use: :Prolonged periods of driving or riding in a vehicle are required, sometimes over rough terrain or in remote locations.
