Parts Utilities Operator

(KDi) is a 3rd generation steel fabricator. KDi is a family-owned company that has been in business since 1942. We do all our designs in house and build tables, platforms, large weldments, racks, trailers, and custom-built parts to our customers' prints. We use a 3D software to draw, three lasers to cuts parts, two pressbrakes, a CNC saw, and very skilled fabricators to assemble. We have also added a robotic welder, two rollers, and pipe benders to our shop. We recently built a new building where all our fabrication is housed and added a powdercoat booth. There are plans for another addition in the near future.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a 1st shift Parts Utility Operator who is comfortable working in a busy fabrication shop. You will be working with our team in the laser shop to produce high quality parts that are then used in the production shop. You must be able to concentrate and stay on task in order to achieve the piece rate. We want someone responsible and willing to work! Must be able to lift 50 pounds, follow blueprints, and be self motivated. The position is float based on the needs in different areas of the shop, i.e. laser, robot, picking parts, Press Brake, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
