Parts Delivery Driver/Parts Puller

COMPANY: Skyway Auto Parts Inc. JOB TITLE: Parts Delivery Driver/ Parts Puller.

REPORTS TO: Feeder Yard Manager.

LOCATION: 49 Hopkins Street Buffalo NY, 14220. JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Non-Exempt.

HOURS: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, Saturdays as needed.

COMPENSATION: $18-21/hour, based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain the cleanliness and operability of the delivery truck.

- Obeys all traffic laws and follows established traffic procedures.

- Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures.

- Observe and report on customer information, including customer buying habits and competitive intrusion.

- Other duties as assigned by management.

- Fill customer orders and ready them for delivery. Accurately locate, identify, and safely pull automotive parts.

- Package parts for delivery and handle any related paperwork

- Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.

- Load parts truck in a safe manner, securing all items in the bed of the truck.

- Complete vehicle safety checks per company policy and operates the vehicle within the safety guidelines.

- Presents bill and receipts and collects payment for goods delivered or loaded.

- Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors.

- Follow all delivery and pick-up processes and protocol to ensure compliance and accuracy.

- Maintains driving record within company requirements.

- Communicate effectively with yard and counter staff.

- Maintains fuel and maintenance log.

- Safely maneuver around the yard or warehouse.

- Clean and prepare jobsite in a tidy and safe manner.

- Remove fluids and tires from vehicle.

- Use a variety of tools and machines; blowtorches, forklifts, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment.

- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.

- Ability to see well and distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and typical sounds.

Qualifications:

- Clean driving record.

- Safety Oriented.

- Valid Driver’s License.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Being able to operate a forklift, bobcat, loader a plus.

- Quick learner who can follow direction.

- Good communication skills.

- Organized, consistent, and good at multitasking.

- Willingness to work.

- Good attendance.
