Position Specific Description

NextEra Energy is seeking a highly detail‑oriented Paralegal to support complex financing transactions. This role requires strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. The Paralegal will work closely with attorneys and subject matter experts to draft legal documents, support time‑sensitive financing transactions, and assist with investor due diligence. Responsibilities include identifying, organizing, and reviewing project documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with disclosure requirements, as well as contributing to related legal projects as needed. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, performs well under pressure, and thrives in a collaborative, high‑performing team environment committed to delivering impactful results

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Under limited supervision:

- Drafts and edits legal documents based on edits and input from corporate attorneys

- Participates in special projects or activities related to the legal discipline being supported

- Performs legal and transaction related research

- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

- High School Grad / GED

- Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience

- Experience: 2+ years

Preferred Qualifications

- Paralegal Certification
