Key Responsibilities

A Painter is responsible for completing the following duties:

- Surface Preparation: Sand spatter and rust, wipe down steel to remove oils and cutting fluids.

- Painting Process: Apply paint to completed production jobs and sub-assemblies.

- Equipment and Maintenance: Mix paint properly, use correct paint equipment settings and adjustments, and perform daily maintenance routines on paint equipment.

- Quality Control: Identify and mask areas not to be painted, utilize proper paint application techniques, inspect paint jobs for quality issues like runs and missed areas.

- Documentation: Maintain paint booth and complete necessary paperwork.

Compensation

- The starting pay range for this position is $20-$24 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.

Day Shift

- Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

Qualifications

- Previous experience in automotive or industrial painting preferred

- Ability to read blueprints

- Detail oriented
