Job Summary We’re hiring a dependable Industrial Painter for 1st shift. This role primarily focuses on high-quality industrial painting of a diverse range of fabricated parts—from priming structural steel components to finishing artistic pieces for cities—with occasional support in other shop areas based on production needs.
- Mix paints accurately according to specifications and ratios
- Prepare surfaces and materials for painting
- Apply paint using spray techniques to achieve full, even coverage and desired finish
- Monitor drying/curing processes and adjust equipment settings for optimal quality
- Inspect finished parts to ensure top-quality standards
- Clean and maintain paint booth, spray guns, and related equipment
- Operate forklift and safely handle parts (lifting 50+ lbs)- Assist in other shop areas as needed
- Follow blueprints and maintain a clean, safe workspace
- 1–3 years of experience in industrial painting (spray application strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of paint mixing, thinning, color matching, and application techniques
- Experience with surface preparation, masking, and various paint types/coatings
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced environment- Attention to detail, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Forklift experience and basic blueprint reading
- Commitment to safety, proper PPE usage, and quality standards
- Pay: $16.00 – $22.00/hour
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
