We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining account relationships with a known set of waterworks and irrigation accounts. Functions as a consultant or trusted advisor.
- Support the sales pipeline for all product lines via relationships, consulting, education, troubleshooting, and solution providing.
- Demonstrates initiative to learn new products and procedures.
- Develops relationships with customers and vendors.
- Works collaboratively with Cimco-GC team.
- Comfortable with public speaking engagements regularly.
- Manages expenses, completes planning and sales results in CRM package.
- Organizes samples and collateral to support sales territory.
- Continually plan schedule two months in advance.
- Have a “Go getter” attitude.
- Be willing to travel 50-70% of the time.
- Willing to commit to a career and our market long term, understanding that relationships take time to form.
- A professional presence and the ability to interact well with all levels of an organization.
- Have a passion for learning and the ability to self-study.
- Able to self-motivate and perform sales duties independently.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to speak in front of large audiences.
- Can adapt to change in planned schedule and/or topic.
- Proficient written communication skills.
- Listens intently and completely to prospect and customer statements/questions.
- Ability to learn and use company provided software.
- Must have a clean driving record and have the ability to travel to Canada.
- Compensation is a base salary with the opportunity for bonuses. Company car provided for business use.
