This Position is Located in Big Spring, TX
Elite Supply Partners is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our Big Spring, TX branch. We are looking for someone with relevant sales experience and industry knowledge selling PVF materials (pipe, valves and fittings) to the Oil & Gas and other industries.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform all essential duties of an Outside Sales Representative including, but not limited to the following:
•Utilize special skills to promote the company’s products and increase customer base
•Make calls to potential and existing customers to sell the company’s products and services
•Build and maintain customer relationships
•Setup and maintain new and established customer data base
•Monitor technical and business objectives of prospective customers
•Responsible for negotiating and preparing material bids for significant clients by setting pricing and profit margins and formulating all plan details
•Provide purchasing feedback as it relates to inventory levels, dead stock and new product evaluation
•Maintain working knowledge of product lines
•Negotiate skillfully and achieve acceptable profit margins in order to increase company’s profits and maintain company’s over-all financial health
•Responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction
•Work closely with Store Manager and supporting staff to see orders through to correct and timely fulfillment
•Report customer issues to Store Manager immediately and provide customer support to resolve complaints and problems, while maintaining good relationships
•Manage MRO/Alliance and all existing customers
•Use promotional and entertainment dollars wisely, where justified, while adhering to company and customer policies and regulations
•Assist the Credit Manager by gathering and reporting accurate information on prospective customers
•Maintain open lines of regular communication between all sales staff
•Provide leadership to supporting staff
•Participate in trade shows, conferences, training and PR events periodically
•Actively participate in training to increase sales skills and product knowledge
•Participate in on-call schedule
•Participate in inventory physical counts
•Maintain company vehicles in a safe, clean and functioning manner
Qualifications & Experience
•Previous sales experience required
•Outside sales experience preferred
•PVF and/or Oil & Gas knowledge required
•Valid driver’s license and good driving record
•Vehicle allowance paid by Elite Supply Partners
