Cordia is seeking an Operations Support Manager to lead fleetwide initiatives, standards, and innovation. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this role is directly responsible for the fleetwide Equipment Reliability Program, fleetwide Operations Optimization Program, and supporting all other operations activities including projects, safety, training, environmental, and sustainability. Commercial and Business activity support duties are expected to be a portion of this role.
The Operations Support Manager
serves as a key position to align efforts to consistently and continuously improve distributed operations across Cordia’s nationwide platform. The position will also represent operations, where appropriate, in company-wide initiatives.
- Lead Cordia’s fleet Reliability Program, with the goal of managing assets consistently, safely, and cost effectively using data, planning, and standardized processes
- Directly oversee fleet reliability specialist to implement the fleet Reliability Program
- Collaborate with plant leadership to define and implement standards of practice for the Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Define and track reliability Key Performance Indicators for each site. Assist operations staff in actions to improve performance as measured by KPIs
- Develop processes to consistently utilize data driven decision making and priority setting.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as IT or finance, as necessary to implement projects for the CMMS, Enterprise Resource Program, or other enterprise software. Sponsor projects as necessary
- Define and communicate fleet operations priorities to internal stakeholders and site operations.
- Coordinate, plan, and provide leadership to Cordia’s Fleet Optimization program
- Directly oversee staff implementing projects at sites to operate industrial machines more efficiently.
- Analyze operational strategies for opportunities for improvement. Implement, with vendor support where appropriate, real time control system improvements to integrate automatic controls.
- Assist plant staff with training in new technologies
- Assess new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, for use in operational decision making. Integrate new technologies into site operations
- Collect, refine, organize, and analyze data for operational Key Performance Indicators. Work with plant staff to identify paths to reduce cost and environmental impact
- Lead in developing and implementing efficiency and plant reliability dashboards for assessing equipment performance
- Contribute to the development and standardization of Cordia’s operational practices
- Lead operations reviews of company Information Technology and Operational Technology processes
- Develop and implement best practices related to identifying, evaluating, and addressing Cyber Security risks for operations
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in safety, reliability, maintenance, and operational performance
- Provide support for equipment troubleshooting, plant initiatives, and analyses
- Assist with the development and execution of long-term sustainability and decarbonization initiatives
- Assist with implementation of Cyber Security standards
- Lead or Support technical training program
- Support business development efforts by reviewing potential growth projects
- Participate in customer-facing meetings and technical discussions as needed
- This position is a hybrid of office-based work and onsite field support in an industrial plant environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, equivalent experience can be substitution
- Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience
- Experience working in an industrial environment preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project scheduling tools
- Experience with ERP systems, including NetSuite, preferred
- Knowledge of industry best practices related to equipment reliability, plant operation, and data practices
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic operating environment
- Comfortable working across multiple facilities and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
- Direct experience with district energy systems and combined heat and power (CHP) technologies
- Advanced degree in engineering or business administration
- Knowledge of advanced analytics with respect to plant operations
- Knowledge of industrial cyber security controls

- The anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,000-$170,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
