Advanced Materials Technologies, LLC, Chandler, Arizona seeks a talented Production Manager with extensive FAA-145 component overhaul experience, preferably in the turbine engine overhaul sector. The Production Manager coordinates Production activities and sets the tempo to ensure continuous component process flow at all times. This includes Platinum Aluminide Coating, Heat Treat/Brazing, Hand Finish/Debur, Flame Spray/Thermal Spray, Air Flow Testing, and Welding Services. The Production Manager drives company initiatives and enforces company policies. This Manager directs production accountability and efficiently manages departmental resources to maintain established Quality, Profitability, and Delivery standards and achieves strategic planning goals. The Production Manager develops departmental goals, operating plans and budgets that support company objectives.
- Timely component processing to maintain component delivery within Customer requirements
- Coordinate and maximize results that achieve quality, profitability, and delivery goals
- Provide direct supervision and management for all Production Leads and employees
- Coordinate with department heads to generate / finalize production forecast
- Monitor production capacity and workload to ensure correct staffing/workforce levels
- Monitor/control employee performance, attendance, efficiency, clocking conformance, and overtime
- Maintain effective internal coordination during new work package development; maximize quotation effectiveness
- Provide effective feedback to inside sales for effective Customer communication
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to develop safe, effective, and profitable procedures
- Coordinate closely with Quality Control to guarantee component airworthiness during return to service
- Maintain personnel safety through effective, legal, and compliant processes
- Minimize process cost to increase corporate profitability
- Identify and implement continuous Production improvement initiatives
- Establish and foster a team environment conducive to maximum productivity
- Develop and cross-train personnel; enhance production flexibility
- High school diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor’s degree in aviation maintenance, aerospace engineering, or related field preferred
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate strongly preferred
- Minimum 7 years of supervision and management experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 4 years in a Part 145 environment
- Experience with Hot Section repair of the Honeywell GTCP331-200/250/350/500, 131-9, TPE331, or PW901A engines is a plus for any candidate
- In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations, including FAR Part 145, required
- Experience working in an ISO9001:2015 and/or AS9110C environment is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Proficient in interpreting technical data, maintenance manuals, and regulatory documents
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Be at least 18 years of age and must have a valid driver license and safe driving record
- Understand, read, and write English
- Possess organizational skills and maintain strong attention-to-detail
- Must be well-versed in MS Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Able to manage interruptions and a challenging environment
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including state and federal regulations
