We are currently looking for an experienced Operations Administrator to join our Lloydminster Thermal division. Based at our Meota Central field office and reporting to the Senior Foreman, this role will provide key support to the Operations team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Foreman on budget forecasting and monthly cost tracking across our assets, manage asset-related systems for the Operations team, and support HSE and training requirements. Additionally, this role will assist the Senior Foreman on daily and monthly asset analytics, exception reporting, and reliability reporting.
- Support the Senior Foreman on monthly accrual reporting and cost forecasting.
- Provide Monthly reporting on variances of budget to actuals for major and minor opex accounts.
- Support HSE and maintenance teams.
- Support the operations teams training systems & asset management systems.
- Interface with operations analysts to ensure accuracy of accounts.
- Support the annual operations budget cycle through data collection and analysis.
- Oversee field office administration, including ordering supplies, coordinating meals for meetings, and related tasks.
- Experience with OpenInvoice (AP), Q-byte systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced business environment.
- Ability to manage and prioritize competing deadlines.
- Ability to lead meetings amongst a multidisciplinary group.
- 5-8 years of experience with data entry and cost forecasting.
- Diploma in accounting or business administration is an asset.
- Previous experience in a cost tracking role would be an asset.
- Previous experience in asset management would be an asset.
