- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate ledger entries for EFT/ACH transactions.
- Prepare biweekly payroll with meticulous attention to detail.
- Reconcile three bank accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
- Compile financial statements for month-end, ensuring all transactions are recorded and accounts are balanced.
- Calculate gross pay, transfer earned retainers, and generate income reports and check calculations.
- File and remit monthly sales and use tax returns to the city.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for team members.
- Track employee time-off and maintain accurate personnel records.
- Collaborate with external partners to administer payroll and benefits, including support during open enrollment.
- Foster a positive workplace through employee relations assistance.
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient environment.
- Manage office supplies and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Assist staff with scheduling, filing, and other administrative tasks.
- Organize meetings, monitor deadlines, and manage team calendars.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in comprehensive bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing processes.
- Familiarity with HR policies and procedures.
