The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Office Coordinator will perform administrative and coordination functions in the Corporate EHS Department involving extensive state and federal agencies and regulations.
The EHS Office Coordinator is an enthusiastic and courteous individual, with an eagerness to provide customer service. The person in this role facilitates the internal operations of the EHS department with a visionary and proactive approach.
JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES
- Manage reception area, phone routing, and incoming/outgoing mail.
- Maintain physical and digital filing systems; oversee document control.
- Handle office supplies, equipment, and event coordination.
- Create and manage ID badges, car decals, and access control database.
- Process invoices and support general administrative tasks.
- Assist with project support, including document prep and data entry.
- Manage multiple databases and compile EHS-related reports (e.g., KPIs, EtQ incident reports, OSHA logs, Loss Run, Worke’s Comp Return to Work).
- Catalog training materials and maintain document archives.
- HS Diploma/GED is required.
- Two years of experience as an Office Manager or Legal administrative assistant is strongly preferred.
- Three years of experience in the Safety, Environmental or Regulatory type industry is preferred.
- Business level math, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
- The ability to drive to other local company worksite locations is required.
