In this role our Senior Sales Manager is responsible for leading customer relationships across the Gas Power portfolio in North America.

Responsible for orders, commitments, and convertible orders for a defined region, will manage the customer relationship for accounts within respective region and lead deal negotiations / closure with customers while partnering with commercial operations to develop winning strategies and achieve order closure. High level of commercial judgment is required to achieve the required outcomes.


Job Description

As a dynamic and results-driven Strategic Sales Manager to lead market development and customer engagement efforts across our Heavy Duty and Aero Derivative Gas Turbine portfolios.

In this role our Senior Sales Manager will lead with strategic planning, to drive stakeholder engagement, and commercial execution to achieve goals and long-term growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute long-term strategic plans by market and customer to drive penetration and revenue growth

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including regulators, system operators, and government agencies
Engage with investors, financial institutions, and fuel providers to support project development and financing
Identify and develop early-stage opportunities through proactive engagement with project developers
Act as the single point of contact for customers across HD-GT and Aero portfolios, ensuring a unified customer experience
Lead proposal strategy development and execution in collaboration with internal commercial and technical teams
Drive deal closure with a strong focus on securing orders and positioning Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs)
Support project implementation teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
Share market intelligence internally to inform strategy and enhance sales effectiveness
Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting in Salesforce, supporting sales operations


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business-related discipline from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Power Generation Industry related to Gas Turbine /Steam Turbine and or LM technology products and services
+5 years of Technical Sales related to the Power Generation industry


Desired Characteristics

Excellent understanding of the energy market (dynamics & trends), including the regulatory framework.
Exceptional communication and executive-level presentation skills
Proven leadership and relationship-building abilities, including C-suite engagement
Strong business acumen with strategic, analytical, and long-term thinking
Demonstrated success in value selling and account management
Technical expertise in HD /SP / LM Gas Turbines and/or auxiliary systems
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in matrixed environments
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is: $128,400.00 - $180,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Sales Incentive Bonus to up to 35%.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. This position will stay open on the career website until at least July 7th. 2025
