We are currently hiring for multiple positions to support a new project in Greenland.
One of those roles is for an experienced Motorhand, this role is responsible for ensuring that all equipment is operating and functioning properly. Additionally, Motorhand’s are required to complete minor repairs on equipment as directed.
This is a rotational, travel-based role is ideal for individuals experienced on a Canadian drilling rig along with remote camp exposure.
Successful candidates will depart from Canada and work on-site in Greenland for scheduled rotations.
· Perform assigned duties in a remote, Arctic work environment
· Follow all safety policies, procedures, and site protocols
· Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors
· Adapt to changing weather and site conditions
- Work with the Floorhand on the drill floor when making a trip
- Assist Derrickhand with working on pumps
- Assist in drill line slip-and-cut program
- Assist in moving the rig and camp, rigging up and rigging out
- Learn and be knowledgeable of and adhere to the Company’s Safety Policies, as outlined in the HSE Manual
- Participate in weekly safety meetings, rig inspections, and Hazard I.D. Program
- All other duties as instructed by Driller or Rig Manager
· Ability to work in remote, cold-weather environments
· Ability to pass pre-employment testing (drug, alcohol, medical)
· Relevant certifications/tickets based off each position (e.g., H2S, First Aid, etc.)
