Consider joining the Pennex family as a Mobile Maintenance Technician at our Greenville, PA location. The Mobile Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of machinery and equipment essential for the production of aluminum castings. This position requires a skilled and versatile individual capable of performing various maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventative maintenance measures to optimize equipment efficiency and safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities•Perform preventative and repair maintenance on machinery, equipment, trailers, lift trucks, loaders and cranes to extend equipment lifespan and optimize performance
•Dismantle, install, inspect and test machinery and equipment
•Set up and operate machine tools such as grinder and drill
•Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other machinery or rolling stock parts
•Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut and join metal parts
•Detect equipment malfunction and diagnose to determine cause and minimize production interruptions (troubleshoot)
•Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including servos and controls
•Calibrate machines to meet production specifications and quality standards
•Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history in compliance with DOT regulations
•Maintain machinery and equipment inventories
•Maintain personal and Company tool inventories
•Maintain work area in a safe, neat and orderly condition
•Utilize spare parts inventory system
•Work with management to come up with ideas to improve processes
•Understand and apply company policies and procedures
•Participate in meetings effectively
•Utilize support systems associated with maintenance
•Using the CMMS, identify and suggest corrective actions for patterned failures
•Aid the maintenance department in reaching an RCM and WCM future state
•Other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate Will Have
Education and Experience
•High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or associate degree preferred
•Two or more years of mechanical maintenance experience working on industrial equipment (forklifts, loaders, etc.) required
•Proven experience as a Mobile Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting, preferably in aluminum casting or similar manufacturing industries
•Experience working on air brake and ABS systems
•Hydraulics systems experience is required
•Diesel mechanic certification preferred

•Proven ability to work in a low supervisory environment while successfully meeting goals
•Display a constructive helpful attitude and promote a positive working environment
•Inform, assist and train team members
•Ability to calculate and apply mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to practical situations
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and schematics
•Knowledge of and adherence to industrial safety regulations, protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
•Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
•Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorships are not available
•Regular attendance required
