Maintenance Technician

As the Maintenance Technician at ICL Specialty Fertilizers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant in North Charleston, SC. Your expertise will help maintain our high standards of production and safety.

ICL Specialty Fertilizers has a manufacturing plant in North Charleston, SC. This facility manufactures controlled-release fertilizer brands Osmocote®, Agroblen®, and Agrocote®. The shift assignment of this position varies and does involve occasional overtime, weekend, and holiday coverage as necessary.

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?

+ HS diploma or GED required. + At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a combination of related technical education and work experience. + Ability to use technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings. + Understanding of electric motors and motor systems, with essential electrical knowledge and troubleshooting ability (480 volts and lower). + Basic familiarity with instrumentation such as level, flow, temperature, PLCs, and HMIs. + Robust mechanical knowledge of conveying systems, rotating equipment, fans, pneumatics, and packaging equipment. + Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs., frequently walking up/down stairs, and comfortable entering confined spaces. + Ability to arc (stick) and MIG weld are preferred (Stainless welding a plus). + Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); specific experience with QAD EAM considered a plus. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).

Salary Range: $26.92 - $32.00 per hour

Annual Bonus Target: 5%, subject to plan provisions.
