The Millwright, Topdrive role is responsible for the regular maintenance of Topdrives, identifying specific problems, and taking corrective actions to troubleshoot and repair in alignment with our High Performance, High Value Standard.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

- Read diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

- Operate rig equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts

- Fit bearings, aligning gears and shafts, attaching motors

- Align and test the equipment and make any necessary adjustments

- Perform preventive and operational maintenance, and repair or replace defective parts when necessary

- Participate in on-call duties as required

- Keep up to date with all Precision Drillings' core values, key beliefs, and safety culture

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

- Current enrolled as a third- or fourth-year millwright/industrial mechanic apprentice, or actively hold Registered Red Seal Journeyman Millwright certification

- 3-5 years of experience in an industrial mechanical capacity

- Previous experience working in Oil & Gas sector is required

- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a driver’s abstract

- Have the physical strength required to work with heavy equipment

- Have a solid understanding of OHS regulations, WHMIS, and the importance of PPE on the worksite
