GEi is a growing company looking to add additional Midnight Maintenance Supervisor to teach our current skilled and basic maintenance team members while continuing to expand your knowledge on the job and continue your growth within our company. You will work under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, this position leads, supports, coaches, and coordinates the activities of technicians engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining plant assets. Efforts are fully aligned with supporting and improving Safety, Quality, and Production requirements.
The Midnight Maintenance Supervisor's essential functions include:
- Provide safety leadership and training
- Direct the personnel engaged in the maintenance and repair of plant equipment, machinery, facilities, and electrical repair.
- Oversee all maintenance and preventative maintenance programs including troubleshooting, repair, and perform hands-on maintenance work.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems with machinery.
- Evaluate equipment reliability and take appropriate actions to improve performance.
- Provide mechanical expertise to reduce equipment downtime.
- Communicate successfully with other members of the maintenance team and ensure individual department managers are informed on equipment availability.
- Cross-train, learn and support other functions or processes as required.
- A minimum of three years' experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles and procedures, including pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and programmable logic controls (PLC’s)
- Practical experience in electrical and electro-mechanical repairs.
- Basic computer skills
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety procedures including 6 S’s.
- Multi-task and set priorities under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.

Hours of Work: Midnight Shift/ 11pm-7am-currently a 6 day Work-Week and subject to change due to business demands
