Maintenance Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance processes. This role requires proficiency in managing a team, ensuring the functionality of equipment, and maintaining safety standards. The Maintenance Supervisor will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting our manufacturing goals.

Duties

- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support in daily tasks.

- Assist in improving maintenance management strategies to ensure optimal performance of all equipment.

- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

- Oversee electrical systems with the assistance of a certified electrician (including high voltage and low voltage) and mechanical components to ensure proper functionality.

- Collaborate with project management teams to plan and execute maintenance projects effectively.

- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and inspection.

Experience

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within an industrial maintenance environment.

- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their application in manufacturing processes is a plus.

- Demonstrated expertise in facilities management, mechanical knowledge and electrical experience.

- Familiarity with using tools to ensure reliability of facility.

- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
