Our team produces world-class prefabricated electrical enclosures serving industries such as mining, oil and gas, utilities, and heavy industry.

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson (2D CAD) to support our fabrication and production teams by producing accurate, shop-ready drawings for metal fabrication projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D CAD drawings for sheet metal and structural steel fabrication

- Create fabrication and shop drawings suitable for production and assembly

- Revise and update drawings based on project requirements and shop feedback

- Coordinate with project managers, production, and shop staff to ensure drawings are buildable

- Maintain drawing accuracy, revision control, and documentation standards

- Support internal teams with clear, well-organized technical drawings

Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum 5 years of professional 2D CAD drafting experience

- Strong experience in metal fabrication environments

- Proven experience with sheet metal and or structural steel drawings

- CAD certification, technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience

- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage revisions effectively

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Submission Requirement

Applicants are asked to submit an example of their work. Samples should include 2D CAD drawings related to metal fabrication, sheet metal, or structural steel.

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
