Perform disassembling, troubleshooting, repairing, and assembling frac pump products. Working with hands and knowledge of use of hand and air tools. Work with limited supervision after being trained to complete assembly or repair of a pump. Working in a shop environment to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and assemble frac pumps.
- Work with limited supervision and ability to follow standard procedures.
- Check alignments, clearances, bore size, welds, threads and any damaged parts to determine what repairs are needed.
- Removal and installation of components by following the appropriate procedures.
- Examine frames, fluid ends, and other components to identify damage requiring weld and/or machine work.
- Visually check repaired products to assure that all repairs have been corrected and are completed.
- Uses measuring instruments including mics and calipers to check dimensions.
- Participate in additional routine duties involving general housekeeping, non-standard service activities and any other service needs.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.- 2+ years of mechanical experience using hand tools
- Demonstrated ability to operate a forklift, hoists, and overhead crane
- Familiar with operating air tools
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
