Material Handler / Forklift Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Forklift Driver to support daily shop operations. This role is responsible for unloading and loading trucks, counting and verifying parts, and delivering materials to the shop as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-minded, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely

- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks

- Count, verify, and inspect parts for accuracy and damage

- Receive materials and stage them in designated areas

- Deliver parts and materials to the shop and workstations

- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts

- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

- Follow all safety procedures and company policies

- Assist with other warehouse or shop duties as needed

Qualifications:

- Forklift experience required

- Ability to accurately count and track parts

- Basic math and record-keeping skills

- Ability to lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks

- Strong attention to detail and organization

- Dependable with good attendance

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Required Education: High School or Equivalent

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

- Standing, walking, bending, and operating equipment throughout the shift

- Safety Sensitive Position

Schedule:

- Full-time

· Shift: Days: M-Th 6:00am – 4:30pm 10 Hour Shifts with Friday and Saturday as Overtime as needed

Compensation:

- Pay Range: $20– $24.00 per hour

Work Environment:

- Manufacturing/production setting

- Physically active, hands-on role
