Material Handler Forklift Operator

Viking Tool & Gage, Inc. is one of the largest metal fabricators in Western PA and we are hiring for a 1ST SHIFT MATERIAL HANDLER.

Summary of Position: The basic function of the Material Handler is to manage material placement and organization throughout the shop.

Essential Job Functions:

- Wrap and band all skids in audit for shipment.

- Empty baskets taken away.

- All presses supplied with incoming pieces. When finished, pieces to be taken to staging area/audit area.

- Saw: Keep carts full of mill lengths to saw. Move sawed parts to staging are. Have correct containers at saw for sawed parts.

- Supply necessary pallets to job (new or old).

- Handle all chip hoppers.

- All material sorted, (last lots first to use) warehouse and audit area.

- Supply all material to CNC in lot order.

- Keep all empty containers & corrugated in warehouse in order.

- Load and unload all trucks.

Must have at least 2 years' experience in fork truck operating!

New hire bonus - $250 at 6 months, $500 at 1 year!
