Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Communication Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our target audience across various platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and multichannel marketing approaches to drive results in B2B environments.
- Coordinates marketing communication strategies to promote a Five Star’s brand and services to its target audience. Plans and ensures consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all advertising, social media, and promotional communications.
- Works with external website vendor to provide updates and refresh Company website.
- Supports the planning and execution of trade shows, special events, job fairs and conferences to showcase brand, job openings, and amplify messaging.
- Researches and identifies strategic messaging for specific advertising or promotional channels to effectively reach targeted customer segments.
- Liaises with internal stakeholders to communicate strategic messaging in alignment with the organization's business objectives and policies.
- Tracks projects to measure effectiveness and prepares status reports for stakeholders.
- Takes media personnel to construction sites and other field locations to capture photos, videos, and stories that bolster marketing efforts. Ensures that all media content aligns with the company's branding and messaging.
- Develops and distributes materials to inform local communities about ongoing and upcoming construction projects, addressing their concerns and highlighting project benefits.
- Organizes and promotes volunteer opportunities for staff to engage with local communities, fostering goodwill and enhancing the company's community presence.
- Identifies and pursues sponsorship opportunities that align with the company's values and objectives, enhancing brand visibility and community impact.
Experience
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas clearly. Ability to create clear, concise and engaging copy for various marketing channels (web, social, email, print, etc.).
- Familiarity with writing for blogs, newsletters, social media, press releases, and promotional materials.
- Basic knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
