Marketing Communications Manager

Job Purpose

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for shaping and executing Hyliion’s communication and brand strategy to elevate company visibility, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and support business growth. This role leads the development of strategic messaging, manages media relations, drives integrated corporate communication initiatives, and ensures consistent, compelling communication across all internal and external channels.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.

+ Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in Marketing Communications, Branding, and other related Corporate Communications roles.

+ Experience within technology, energy, manufacturing, or related industries preferred

+ Demonstrated success in strategic communications planning, and brand positioning.

+ Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

+ Proven experience managing social media and digital communications platforms.

+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally to achieve common goals.

+ Familiarity with investor communications, media analytics, social media management tools, and CRM platforms.

+ Experience working with senior executives and external partners. preferred

Role Classification and Working Conditions

This is a salaried, exempt-level position. This position typically works in an office environment; and given the nature of our business is also exposed to operations/warehouses/production environments.
