We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing initiatives within our Oilfield and Water Treating Chemicals businesses. This role is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, strengthen brand positioning, and support commercial and product line objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical acumen, industry experience, and marketing expertise, with a strong understanding of the oil & gas value chain, specifically drilling, completions, and production chemicals, as well as how chemistry is used in water treating applications.
o Develop and execute the global marketing strategy for the Oilfield Chemicals portfolio.
o Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
o Lead market segmentation, value proposition development, and positioning strategies.
o Collaborate closely with Product Line Management, R&D, and Sales teams to define and communicate product differentiation.
o Drive the launch of new products and services, including go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and commercialization plans.
o Develop technical marketing content such as brochures, presentations, case studies, and digital content tailored to the oilfield market.
o Monitor and report on key market indicators, competitor activities, and industry trends.
o Provide actionable insights and recommendations to commercial and leadership teams.
o Support customer engagement initiatives, industry events, technical conferences, and trade shows.
o Serve as a marketing liaison between customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of marketing activities.
o Manage digital marketing initiatives including website content, email campaigns, and social media targeting oil & gas audiences (especially LinkedIn).
o Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, measuring effectiveness and ROI.
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (MBA preferred).
· Minimum of 5+ years of experience in marketing, product management, or commercial roles within the Oilfield Chemicals, Water Treating Chemicals or Oil & Gas industry.
· Fundamental understanding of drilling, completion, stimulation, and/or production chemical technologies, as well as water treating.
· Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into commercial messaging.
· Experience in managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder engagement.
· Proficiency in marketing tools, including website development and LinkedIn
· Ability to travel as required (up to 10%).
· Prior experience working closely with sales, R&D and technical teams.
· Strong network within the oil & gas services sector.
· Creative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
In office, 5-days per week, reporting to VP Products and Technology.
