Tidewater has an immediate opening for a Marketing Accountant. This is a full-time position based at our Calgary Head Office. The Marketing Accountant will report to the Director, Marketing Accounting.
- Create, verify, and send marketing-related invoices (e.g., NGL and sulphur)
- Verify pricing components
- Volume reconciliation
- Reconcile purchaser statements and validate revenue
- Resolve missing payments and discrepancies
- Manage accounts receivable in Qbyte
- Submit price and export reports to provincial and federal governments
- Internal asset reporting via Power BI
- Forecasting & Analysis
- Prepare accruals and Accrual to Actual analysis monthly
- Coordinate forecasting for crude oil, NGL, and sulphur industry settlements
- Strong spreadsheet skills
- Understanding oil and gas accounting would be an asset
- Experience with Financial systems like Qbyte & Open Invoice would be an asset
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to collaborate across departments
- 1-2 years of industry experience preferred
