Your future role on our team
You’ll be supervised by the chief accountant and will perform a range of tasks for our Finance and Accounting department. Your responsibilities will include month-end processes, various monthly and quarterly analyses, budget variance reviews and other related duties.

- Carry out month-end accounting, mainly:
- Posting various journal entries in the ERP system for payroll expenses, accounts receivable, accruals, bank loans and finance leases
- Performing account analyses, reconciling the general ledger (GL) and updating debt and fixed asset continuity schedules
- Reconciling and eliminating cross-company transactions
- Preparing and producing month-end reports
- Helping prepare the consolidated financial statements
- Conduct several monthly management analyses, mainly of salaries and other expenses, hours and productivity as well as budget variances
- Perform ad hoc analyses for managers
- Produce quarterly management analyses for executive committees
- Support the year-end external audit
- Participate in the annual budgeting cycle

- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, with corporate accounting experience (not necessarily in auditing)
- Three to five years of experience managing the full accounting cycle
- Experience working in a professional services firm and in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
- Asset: knowledge of the Maconomy ERP system
