Accountable for the leadership, development and implementation of an assigned new growth opportunity that will result in the offering of a new strategic product or service, or portfolio of products & services to the market.

Responsibilities:* Activities related to the analysis of market opportunity, market and customer development, market introduction and initial development and production of the new product or service. This position plays a critical role in establishing the position of the new product/service in the market, including ensuring the acceptance internally and delivering on customer satisfaction.

Alignment: Knowledge of the importance of collaboration among team members and the ability to enroll stakeholders in communicating and coordinating activities to support the organization's vision and strategies. Level Working Knowledge:* Assimilates information quickly and with a sense of how it applies to the vision.

Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization. Level Working Knowledge:* Implements the group's go-to-market strategy.

Visioning: Understanding of the value of articulating an intended business outcome and ability to create and communicates a vision of the organization that motivates others to superior performance. Level Working Knowledge:* Reinforces and reiterates linkages between the team's work and the vision.

Business Development: Knowledge of business development tools, techniques and approaches; ability to explore and develop potential areas of business growth for the organization. Level Working Knowledge:* Summarizes the stages of the business development lifecycle.

Summary Pay Range:

$120,299.00 - $180,449.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
