Division: Vulcan Steel Products Overview:
Lead the sales efforts of CLP with the support of inside and outside sales teams.
Responsibilities:
•+ Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 8 Regional Sales Managers.
+ Analyze territory trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights to create and implement winning strategies.
+ Collaborate and plan with all other departments to ensure customer related issues are addressed along with pushing our overall sales execution plans.
+ Collaborate with leadership to align sales strategy with broader business goals and long-term vision.
+ Identify market opportunities and challenge the status quo—constantly asking, “What’s next?” and “How can we win?”
+ Use performance metrics, forecasting tools, and analytics to make informed decisions and deploy effective sales strategies.
+ Operate with the mindset of a future Sales Manager—demonstrating vision, agility, and sound judgment in all areas of leadership.
+ Negotiate & manage sales contracts.
+ Regular travel is required to service customers and attend industry events.
Qualifications:
Required* + 5+ years of progressive sales experience.
+ A track record of exceeding revenue targets.
+ Strong analytical thinking with the ability to turn data into action and strategy into execution.
+ High energy, self-starter, well-organized, and dedicated to continuous improvement
+ 4-year College degree in business, marketing, or related field
+ Experience with Salesforce.com CRM
Preferred* + Prior experience in building materials
+ Leadership experience
+ MBA or advanced leadership training is a plus.
